Body as poetry
Midnight Yoga
A Sanctuary in the Dark for Grief, Transition, and Transformation
A Space for the Liminal
Midnight Yoga is a space for those navigating loss, change, and the liminal.
A space where we do not turn away from grief—but move with it.
Through breathwork, movement, sound healing, and stillness, we honour what words cannot hold.
This is not about flexibility. It’s about emotional fluency, nervous system tending, and soul presence.

Neuroscience and neurodivergence
Understanding how grief impacts the brain and nervous system

Cycles of grief, loss and endings
Honoring personal and collective loss

Feminine wisdom, emotional integration and cycles of life
The embodied experience of change

Yoga, meditation, breathwork and Sound healing
Somatic practices for deep processing. Live music, bowls, or chimes — to support shifting states

A Space for the Liminal
Grief needs sanctuary.
To be seen, felt, and embodied—without pressure, without fixing.
In this space, we move slowly, guided by breath and held by sound. We let the process unfold. We listen with the body.
Midnight Yoga blends modern yoga, trauma-informed somatics, breathwork, meditation, and feminine wisdom with ancient rituals of mourning and renewal, all held in a sound-healing field.
You are not asked to transcend your pain.
You are invited to befriend it.
What We Explore
-
Neuroscience & Neurodivergence
Understanding how grief reshapes the brain and nervous system—
and how movement, breath, and sound support healing
-
Cycles of Grief & Renewal
Honouring personal and collective endings with compassion
Letting grief rise, move, release, and renew through guided breathwork and vocal expression
-
Feminine Wisdom & Liminal Rites
The cyclical, intuitive intelligence of the body
Embracing the thresholds where identity dissolves and something new begins, held by sound healing
-
The Body as Poetry
Movement as language. Grief as expression.
Voice, breath, presence, silence, and resonant sound become sacred instruments
The science and soul of grief
Grief is not just an emotion—
it is a profound neurophysiological process.
Loss reshapes the brain, affecting cognition, emotions, and the nervous system.
Traditional cultures understood this, embedding grief rituals into the rhythm of life.
Midnight Yoga bridges these worlds—
offering somatic tools and breath practices backed by research, all held within the timeless wisdom of embodied practice and sound healing.

Why Midnight?
There is something sacred about the dark.
About the hour when the veils thin—
between past and future, known and unknown, self and other.
Midnight Yoga honours this threshold.
In the sanctuary of the night, we let what was be witnessed.
We let what is arriving find space to breathe—often guided by collective breathwork and held by the resonance of sound.

The story behind Midnight Yoga
I know what it is to lose—home, belonging, babies, people I love, health, dreams.
I have walked through grief again and again, until it became part of my inner landscape.
This practice was born from that terrain.
It was created because I needed it—because we need spaces where loss is not hidden or rushed, but held with reverence.
Midnight Yoga is that space.
A home in the dark for those who are walking through endings, standing at thresholds, or waiting to be reborn.
Whether you are in the midst of grief, on the edge of transformation, or simply longing for space to be—
Midnight Yoga is for you.
Bring your breath. Bring your body. Bring your grief.
There is space for you here.
Let’s move through the dark together.
