FemiLiminal groups
A group Lab for transformational creativity
Some experiences take shape more easily in community. When we create together, something settles, opens, and finds its own rhythm. These group sessions give space for expression through body, voice, imagination, and story. Creativity becomes a way to listen, to feel, and to meet what is moving within.
This is a space for presence and genuine expression.
Each group forms its own vessel, shaped by the people within it. What we explore together can offer clarity, connection, and the relief of being met. What arises often reflects what is ready to shift and what is ready to be seen.

The Path
Each Lab follows a steady rhythm, a cycle that supports exploration, embodiment, and integration. Every gathering becomes a way of meeting yourself through creative practice.
We move through phases of creative unfolding
Move – warm the body and arrive
Awaken – open the voice and let energy rise
Enter – explore the theme through guided practice
Create – express what comes, in any medium that calls
Share – speak, listen, and witness in community
Receive – reflect and gather what has taken shape
Compost – let the work settle and become new ground
We explore core FemiLiminal themes. These include cycles, life phases, emotions, transitions, rites of passage, archetypes, soul, sexuality, and the wisdom of the body. The nervous system and female physiology are woven through the work.
Each Lab invites you to return to what feels true in you through creativity, expression, and collective witness.
The story
I have always been a creator by instinct. It is the way I move through the world and how I understand my inner landscape. Movement, voice, poetry, story, and quiet were my earliest forms of expression, long before I had words for what I felt.
In my early years I worked with textiles and tailoring, shaping fabric into form and learning how the body speaks through texture and structure. That work taught me how to listen to what words cannot hold.
Indigenous roots matter deeply to me. I come from lineages where indigenous knowledge was forgotten or interrupted, and over the course of my life, especially in relationship with my father, I have been gently uncovering and reclaiming parts of this inheritance. This includes ancient South American, Celtic, and pre-Celtic threads, as well as a growing understanding of the other lineages I carry. My birthplace, Aotearoa, and the many lands that have held and taught me continue to shape this listening.
Over time I came to understand creative expression as a form of medicine. It helps integrate experience, give shape to what feels formless, and bring meaning to places where language is limited.
My path has moved through performance, poetry, visual work, music, and ritual. Creativity became a way of remembering myself and gradually began to weave into my work with women, groups, and the learning spaces I developed within the feminine field.
Many people carry histories of silence. Instincts that went unnamed. Grief that remained unspoken. Creativity that never found a place to land. The body remembers these things, even when life moves on.
I hold space for women and people from marginalised backgrounds to speak what wants to be spoken and to create from a place that feels true. The work centres integration, honesty, and expression that brings you closer to yourself.
Life rarely offers a clear script. Through story, movement, image, and voice we find ways to make sense of what has shaped us. We return to what feels authentic.
This is a space for presence, creative instinct, and the quieter forms of power that grow from within.
Your creative essence has a place here. It matters.
Why This Work Matters
In a world that teaches us to hide our inner lives, this work calls us to bring them into the light – through voice, movement, story, and song.
To be seen. To be heard. To express.
This is how we heal. Individually and together.
“It has been scientifically demonstrated that shamans who encourage their clients to publicly perform their dreams in poetry, song, and dance are 80% effective in healing. Psychiatrists, who use psychoanalytic techniques that encourage their clients to talk about, draw, paint, or describe their dreams in private are only 30 percent effective.”
— Barbara Tedlock, Ph.D., The Woman in the Shaman’s Body
This is why we gather.
This is why we create.
This is why it works.
